The third round of the Italian Serie A kicked off on Friday with an impressive 4:1 away win for Como over Genoa. Even before the intriguing meeting between Juventus and Milan on Sunday, the main match will take place on Saturday: Inter vs. Napoli.

Inter - Napoli (Saturday, 19:00)

The main match of the round will bring together the two champions of the last two years. Napoli has not beaten Inter in their last five meetings (one win for the Nerazzurri and four draws), but Cristian Chivu lost to Massimiliano Allegri in both their meetings so far - twice 1:0 in the Milan derby last season. Rasmus Hojlund said ahead of the match:

"There are many strong teams, but Inter is still the favorite to win the championship. It is a very strong team, it reached two Champions League finals in the last five years. But we will go there with courage and try to win."

Scott McTominay will of course be absent after it turned out he needs to undergo a medical procedure on his heart.

Roma - Atalanta (Saturday, 21:45, Sport1)

Roma started the season in a storm, with two wins and an 8:0 goal difference, but Atalanta also has 6 points out of a possible 6 - even though the performance is not dazzling. Gian Piero Gasperini will try to lead the Giallorossi to their first win over Atalanta after eight matches. In fact, the last time the team from the capital beat the one from Bergamo was in March 2022, and he was on the sidelines for the loser. Marten de Roon will meet the team where he played for 10 years in total.

Genoa - Como 4:1

A second consecutive away win for Como, which left Daniele De Rossi and Genoa without points after three rounds. Montenegrin signing Milutin Osmajic started for the first time for the hosts and surprised in the 19th minute with a debut goal, but Martin Baturina fired the equalizer in the 25th minute and Assan Diaw turned the result around five minutes later. Nico Paz controlled the ball great in the box and scored the third for the visitors in the 40th minute, with Diaw completing a brace in the 78th minute after an assist from Moise Kean, who entered for his debut 12 minutes earlier. Another impressive evening for Como ahead of their Champions League debut.

Fiorentina - Torino (Saturday, 16:00)
