As revealed in Globes: Cyera acquires Oasis Security for $1 billion
Two Israeli cyber companies have signed a letter of intent for an acquisition deal, in which Cyera plans to incorporate Oasis Security. The move is designed to integrate information security, non-human identities, and AI agents into a single platform, addressing the surge in the use of artificial intelligence agents within organizations.
As revealed in Globes, the Israeli cyber company Cyera has signed a letter of intent (LOI) to acquire the Israeli startup Oasis Security, which develops solutions for managing and securing non-human identities and AI agents. According to the companies' announcement, upon completion of the deal, subject to the signing of a binding agreement and the fulfillment of required conditions, Oasis will become an independent unit within Cyera and will continue to operate in the field of non-human identity security.
This move is expected to expand Cyera's cyber platform by integrating information and data security capabilities with identity management, access permissions, and AI agents. The company states that the goal is to enable organizations to obtain a complete picture of the connection between sensitive information and any entity, human or non-human, seeking to access it. At this stage, the breakdown of cash versus equity in the deal has not been disclosed.
Oasis Security was founded in 2022 by CEO Danny Brickman and Chief Product Officer Amit Zimmerman. Both previously served in Unit 81. The company focuses on securing non-human identities, a field gaining momentum following the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. According to Cyera's data, the number of non-human identities in Fortune 500 organizations has grown by 480% over the last six months.
For Cyera, this is another strategic step in its expansion. The company recently completed a $600 million funding round at a $12 billion valuation and continues to scale its security platform through acquisitions. The company estimates that combining the capabilities of both firms will allow organizations to manage data security, identities, and AI agents within a single system.
