Celebration at Ben Gurion Airport: Aviation giant adds flights to Israel — from $730
The holiday season is just around the corner, and while many are currently spending their summer vacations abroad, some are already busy planning their holiday trips. In light of this, the airline is increasing its flights.
Ahead of the busy holiday season at Ben Gurion Airport, one of the world's leading aviation groups is significantly expanding its operations and introducing a new schedule with dozens of weekly flights. Ethiopian Airlines is expanding flight options on the Tel Aviv-Addis Ababa route.
According to the company's announcement, for a full month, between September 6 and October 6, 2026, additional flights will be added on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, aiming to offer passengers greater flexibility in flight times and connecting options.
As part of this expansion, 4 additional flights will be operated on each of the company's operating days, bringing the total to about 25 flights per week on the Tel Aviv-Addis Ababa route. Alongside the increase in demand and the addition of flights, the company has announced a price reduction for travel on these dates.
For example, prices for flights to Tokyo start from $1023 per passenger, including two suitcases. Likewise, for flights to Seoul, prices start from only $730 per person, including two suitcases. Additionally, for Bangkok and Hanoi, prices range between $750 and $850 per passenger.
The company's new flight schedule includes departures at various times throughout the day. Flights from Tel Aviv to Addis Ababa will depart at 01:00, 10:00, 15:35, and 16:50. In the opposite direction, flights will depart from Ethiopia at 02:10, 10:25, 11:40, and 17:00 (local time).
