World's Richest Ranking: Billionaires' Losses
The Forbes ranking of the world's richest people reveals the wealth of the top five, with all of them recording declines since the last trading day and losing money throughout the week.

Elon Musk continues to lead the Forbes world's richest ranking by a huge margin from second place. According to the data, Musk's wealth is currently estimated at $834.7 billion, with about $556 billion separating him from the person ranked second.
Most of Musk's wealth comes from his holdings in Tesla and SpaceX. However, since the last trading day, Musk has lost about $31.3 billion. At the same time, in recent days he has been dealing with a lawsuit following serious allegations regarding the supervision and use of the Grok chatbot, including allegations related to the creation of explicit images.
In second place is Larry Page, one of the founders of Google, with wealth estimated at $278.7 billion. Page also recorded a decline since the last trading day, with his wealth shrinking by about $3 billion.
In third place stands Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, with wealth of about $267.9 billion. Bezos lost about $5 billion since the last trading day. As recalled, Bezos is expected to join a group of investors that will acquire about a third of the Liverpool football club.
In fourth place is Sergey Brin, one of the founders of Google, whose wealth is estimated at $257.2 billion. In his case, too, a decline was recorded, as Brin lost about $2.7 billion since the last trading day.
Rounding out the top five is Michael Dell, founder of the computer company Dell, with wealth estimated at $233.2 billion. Dell lost about $529 million since the last trading day, a significantly smaller decline compared to that recorded by the other billionaires at the top.
The general picture in the ranking points to a common trend: all five leading billionaires lost money since last week. Despite this, Musk still maintains a huge lead at the top of the list, and the gap between him and the other billionaires continues to be anomalous in its scale.
