Civil Administration demolishes illegal construction in northern West Bank

The Civil Administration's inspection unit conducted an enforcement operation in the northern West Bank, demolishing illegal construction and clearing infrastructure and plantations established on state land designated for the development of the Ganim and Kadim settlements.

During the operation, several encroachments were identified, including approximately 500 olive trees planted across some 250 dunams of state land, alongside unauthorized structures. The site is located just 100 meters from the planned locations for new neighborhoods in Ganim and Kadim.

The Civil Administration stated that the operation aims to halt land takeover at an early stage and prevent illegal agricultural cultivation and building from creating facts on the ground. Bezalel Smotrich, Minister in the Ministry of Defense, emphasized that state lands are not abandoned and illegal seizures will face resolute enforcement.
