"It's a record": 52-year-old former footballer and 22-year-old influencer divorce after one month

Daniel Nannskog, a former Swedish national team footballer and now a respected commentator, has found himself at the center of Scandinavian gossip columns following a short, turbulent, and rather strange romance. The 52-year-old former striker confirmed this week that he has separated from 22-year-old Norwegian influencer Melina Sophie Zamri, who is 30 years his junior. The announcement of the separation came just a month after the couple revealed they had married.

"Sometimes things go wrong. Sometimes they go wrong in a shitty way," Nannskog said in an Instagram story. "They say you learn as long as you live, and that's exactly what I'm doing. Not everything is perfect every time. Sometimes you just have to move on. You press the gas to 180 km/h without necessarily looking for the speed limit signs."

In May, Zamri confirmed in an interview with Hänt that the two were in a relationship, after Nannskog posted several photos of them together on social media. That same month, they appeared together on the red carpet and, according to reports, tattooed each other's names. A few weeks later, the big news arrived.

"Married! When you know, you know. When you don't know, you have to know. I know! A new life with the right people around me," Nannskog wrote in an Instagram post, which was later deleted.

However, this week Zamri announced that the marriage had ended. "I think I broke the record for the shortest marriage in the world," the 22-year-old wrote on Instagram. The next day, she posted another message: "I will always be grateful for the time we spent together. Unfortunately, we just didn't fit each other."

Perhaps there is a connection to allegations in Sweden that Nannskog grabbed a woman by the throat, pushed her onto the sofa, and threatened to harm her while using cocaine. The prosecution charged him with assault, illegal threats, and a minor drug offense, while he denied all allegations against him.

Nannskog scored two goals in seven appearances for the Swedish national team between 2007 and 2009. He played for Malmö and Djurgården in his homeland, but his best years were in neighboring Norway, where he scored 101 goals in 147 matches for Stabæk, whom he helped promote to the top league in 2005 and, three years later, win a historic championship. He was twice the top scorer in the Norwegian top league, after having done so previously in the second division and also in the Swedish second division.
