CBC Israel Deploys Its First 28-Ton Electric Truck by Renault Trucks
CBC Israel has deployed its first 28-ton electric truck from Renault Trucks, featuring a 250-300 km range and rapid charging infrastructure as part of its expanding green fleet initiatives.

CBC Israel, the Central Bottling Company, has deployed its first electric truck into its distribution fleet, marking a significant step toward advanced propulsion solutions. The 28-ton Renault Trucks vehicle delivers zero tailpipe emissions and quieter operation, boasting a driving range of 250 to 300 kilometers with a rapid charging time of approximately 1.5 hours.
Ahead of the deployment, specialized heavy-duty fast-charging infrastructure was established, and drivers underwent comprehensive training. The new electric truck joins existing hybrid commercial vehicles in the fleet, allowing CBC Israel to evaluate its performance across various distribution routes, workloads, and charging protocols.
CBC Israel, established in 1968 as the exclusive Israeli franchisee for Coca-Cola, operates as one of the country's leading food and beverage conglomerates. Controlled by Dudi Wertheim and his family, the company employs thousands of workers across operational facilities stretching from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat.
