Carlton Tel Aviv Named Israel's Leading Hotel for 2026 at World Travel Awards

Israel's hospitality industry achieved significant international recognition as the Carlton Tel Aviv was named Israel's Leading Hotel for 2026 at the prestigious World Travel Awards.

The award was announced during the World Travel Awards Middle East Gala Ceremony 2026, held on September 13 at the One&Only One Za’abeel hotel in Dubai, with tourism and hospitality leaders from across the Middle East in attendance.

International Recognition and Milestones

For the Carlton Tel Aviv, this marks a major milestone. In 2025, the hotel won the title of Israel's Leading Business Hotel for the ninth time. Now, it has secured one of the competition's most coveted and central categories as the top hotel in the country for 2026.

Located on the coastline adjacent to the Tel Aviv Marina, the five-star hotel boasts over four decades of operation. It combines an urban hospitality experience with a seaside getaway, featuring rooms and suites overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, an executive lounge, a spa complex, and a rooftop pool and jacuzzi offering panoramic views of Tel Aviv.

David InterContinental Honored

In addition, the David InterContinental Tel Aviv was chosen as Israel's Leading Conference Hotel for 2026 by the same international organization.

This is the fifth time the hotel has won the title of leading conference hotel in Israel, adding to a long line of achievements in the global competition. Ilya Bulgakov, CEO of the David InterContinental Tel Aviv, noted that their conference center is the largest among Israeli hotel venues, enabling them to host large-scale domestic and international delegations throughout the year.
