Camtek has reaffirmed its annual financial guidance, projecting revenues of $595 million for the year, representing an annual growth of approximately 40%. The company also confirmed its preliminary outlook for 2027, targeting revenues exceeding $800 million, which would mark a 35% increase compared to 2026.
Listed on NASDAQ and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of $5.2 billion, Camtek manufactures inspection systems for semiconductor manufacturing processes. Camtek stock has registered a moderate positive return of roughly 6% since the beginning of the year, following a 46% decline from its May peak amid broader weakness across the global chip industry.
During the third quarter, Camtek posted a 28% revenue growth to reach approximately $161 million, matching analyst consensus estimates. Year-to-date revenues grew by 13.1% to $416 million, aligning with the company's prior statements regarding a stronger second half. On a GAAP basis, net income for the quarter reached $42.8 million, reversing a net loss in the same period last year, bringing the nine-month total to $97.8 million. On a Non-GAAP basis, quarterly net income stood at $47.5 million, with year-to-date earnings reaching $115 million. Diluted earnings per share for the third quarter came in at 99 cents, perfectly meeting market expectations.
Camtek CEO Rafi Amit highlighted the strong performance, stating:
"These record results for the third quarter reflect the extraordinary strength of our operations and the business momentum continuing into the fourth quarter and looking ahead into 2027. These results reinforce the messages we recently shared at our investor and analyst event. Camtek operates in some of the fastest-growing sectors of the semiconductor industry, particularly advanced packaging for high-performance chips, which benefits from rapid growth driven by artificial intelligence demand."
According to Amit, the company's business momentum spans all key metrics. He added that for the first time in Camtek's history, the company has visibility stretching roughly a year ahead, reinforcing management's confidence in sustained long-term growth.
