First New Hotel in 60 Years Approved for Construction in Caesarea
For the first time in 60 years, a luxury hotel will be built in Caesarea. The 108-room project by Amram Abraham and Shai Hi groups will cost over 100 million shekels.
For the first time in nearly 60 years, a new hotel is set to be built in Caesarea. The Hof HaCarmel Local Planning and Building Committee has granted a building permit to the Amram Abraham Group, in partnership with the Shai Hi Group, to construct a luxury hotel in the Neot Golf neighborhood. Construction is expected to begin in the coming days.
The hotel will feature 108 rooms and suites, some including private pools, alongside a central swimming pool, a spa complex, a chef restaurant, and leisure spaces. Designed with a tiered structure to blend seamlessly into the surrounding green environment, the project will incorporate landscaped roofs and outdoor pool areas. Industry sources indicate that the construction cost will exceed 100 million shekels due to high investment in development.
Hotel Management and Design
The property will be operated by the Gordonia chain, which specializes in luxury and boutique hotels, including the Gordonia Hotel in Ma'ale Hachamisha and Alma Hotel in Zichron Yaakov. Prices at these properties can exceed 2,500 shekels per night for a couple during peak season.
"Receiving the building permit for the Caesarea hotel aligns with our strategic plan to expand growth engines and deepen our activity in the hotel sector," said Noam Greif, CEO of Amram Abraham.
Amram Abraham's Hotel Expansion
The Caesarea project marks a continuation of the company's expansion into the hospitality sector. Amram Abraham is currently advancing seven hotel projects in high-demand areas across the country, totaling approximately 970 rooms in various stages of planning and execution.
