Kevin De Bruyne surpassed the milestone of 200 career goals on Friday evening, reaching 40 goals for the Belgium national team with a brace in a 3:0 home victory over Turkey in the UEFA Nations League. The 35-year-old midfielder picked up his second yellow card of the campaign and will miss the upcoming match against France on Monday, alongside captain Youri Tielemans.

Following the match, De Bruyne focused on the tactical shift introduced by Dutch coach Mark van Bommel: "The most important thing is that I am enjoying my football. I am in a better physical condition than last year and I do not take criticism to heart. Van Bommel's style suits me much more, the guys around me are very energetic and I want to keep it going. We played three good games, I am tired."

Former midfielder Roy Keane praised him during the broadcast: "You look at his performance and ask yourself if this guy is even aging. His movement in the center of the pitch is simply a joy to watch. He invests in every action and tries to make his team better throughout the game - that is how great players play."
