Israeli fintech firm BridgeWise is currently exploring an initial public offering on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, marking a notable milestone for the local tech sector.

The move remains in its early stages, with the offering size, final valuation, and timeline yet to be determined. If materialized, it would represent one of the first IPOs in Tel Aviv by a venture-backed technology company since the cooling of the 2020-2021 tech boom.

AI-Powered Financial Analytics

Founded in 2019 by CEO Gabriel Diamant, Dor Aligula, Or Aligula, and Mor Hazan, BridgeWise develops artificial intelligence systems for automated financial analysis. The technology serves banks, stock exchanges, investment houses, and trading platforms by analyzing stocks, funds, bonds, and other financial assets.

According to company data, its systems currently cover more than 70,000 securities and financial assets across over 15 languages. Beyond equities, BridgeWise has expanded into fund and bond analysis while developing conversational AI tools, such as Bridget, which allow users to query financial data in natural language.

Global Expansion and Strategic Partnerships

Since its inception, BridgeWise has raised approximately $35 million across three major funding rounds. Backers include Group 11 led by Dubi Frances, L4 Venture Builder, and international financial institutions. In 2024, the company closed a $21 million Series A round led by SIX Group, the Swiss financial infrastructure operator.

The firm also counts entities connected to B3, the Brazilian stock exchange operator, among its investors and partners. BridgeWise works with roughly 110 institutional clients, reaching an estimated 25 million end-users globally. Its partners include exchanges in the US, Japan, Switzerland, and Brazil, alongside major Israeli financial institutions such as Bank Hapoalim, Leumi, and Mizrahi Tefahot.

US Acquisition and X Partnership

In February, BridgeWise completed its first US acquisition, buying Chicago-based Context Analytics for approximately $13 million. The acquired technology analyzes alternative financial data, including news, documents, and social media sentiment.

This acquisition connected BridgeWise to X, formerly Twitter, owned by Elon Musk. Through the partnership, the company offers SentimentWise, a service that analyzes financial discourse on X to gauge investor sentiment.

"X hosts the largest financial discourse in the world, allowing us to provide investors with a tool that combines traditional data analysis with deep real-time market sentiment," said CEO Gabriel Diamant.

Tel Aviv Listing Rationale

While the Tel Aviv market has seen a recovery in IPO activity, it has largely excluded venture-backed software, fintech, and AI firms. Industry sources note that a Nasdaq listing is not currently a practical alternative due to the scale required for the US market, making Tel Aviv an attractive avenue for an earlier public debut.
