Lahav 433 Expands Investigation into Tzachi Braverman
Israeli police investigators from Lahav 433 have uncovered new and severe details regarding Tzachi Braverman, the former chief of staff to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to findings released on Monday, Braverman allegedly collected approximately 30 classified protocols in a systematic manner during the month following the October 7 massacre.
Data from the ongoing investigation indicates that all the sensitive documents retrieved were directly related to the period preceding the outbreak of the war. Investigators suspect that Braverman removed these documents without proper authorization and in stark violation of standard operating procedures. The seized records reportedly include highly sensitive security discussions concerning the Gaza Strip and meetings with defense establishment chiefs regarding the Hamas terrorist organization.
"We are in the middle of a war, do not do anything with it right now," former military secretary Avi Gil recalled informing the Attorney General after discovering the irregular protocol collection efforts inside the Prime Minister's Office.
The case is set to be transferred to the Attorney General, who will decide whether to formally indict Braverman. The investigation heavily focuses on why the former chief of staff sought to alter stenographic records from October 7 months after the initial attacks, raising serious questions regarding transparency and official protocol integrity during wartime operations.
