The new Pango Family service aims to streamline household transportation management by offering a unified platform for tracking children's trips and managing personal vehicle expenses.
The Pango app is launching a new service called "Pango Family," designed for families who wish to manage household transportation expenses in a more centralized manner. This new plan was born out of the reality that many families today combine the use of private vehicles with public transportation travel by children and teenagers.
Within the framework of the service, it is possible to add up to six family members to one account. The plan is tailored for families who own multiple vehicles and regularly use blue-and-white parking or paid parking lots. The service costs 29.90 shekels per month and includes up to three vehicles, with the option to add more for an extra fee.
One of the central features of the service is the ability for parents to receive an alert when a child boards a bus, providing real-time information when children are traveling alone. In addition, family members can collectively accumulate "cash" from various activities such as public transportation trips, refueling, electric vehicle charging, and car washing.
The money accumulated in the joint account can be redeemed for parking or future public transportation trips. Furthermore, the plan includes protection against errors in activating parking, with Pango covering fines in certain cases up to three times a year for the entire family.
The service also includes an option for smart parking via reminders and automatic parking shut-off, alongside additional benefits such as unlimited flat tire repair and discounts on car washing.
The launch comes at a time when many children are using public transportation more frequently, especially during summer vacation, and aims to provide a solution for families needing to manage all aspects of mobility in one simple place.
