Severe Indictment Filed in Tel Aviv for Brutal Partner Abuse and Torture
A 25-year-old Bnei Brak resident was indicted in Tel Aviv for a brutal assault on his partner, violating police release terms, and committing extreme domestic violence.
The Tel Aviv District Prosecutor's Office filed a severe indictment in the Tel Aviv District Court against a 25-year-old resident of Bnei Brak, charging him with a brutal campaign of abuse and severe assault against his 20-year-old partner.
Brutal Assault and Violation of Release Conditions
According to the indictment, the violent episode began during the Sukkot holiday near midnight, when the defendant shouted at the victim and punched her in front of his friends in a sukkah adjacent to his apartment. A neighbor who noticed the commotion called the police, and the defendant was taken to the police station for questioning.
At 02:02, a police officer decided to release the assailant under restrictive conditions, which included a strict five-day no-contact order. Immediately upon his release, the defendant violated the order, contacted the young woman, and brought her to his apartment on Sokolov Street in Bnei Brak.
"I am not asking you, I will rape you," the defendant threatened during hours of severe violence, while blocking her escape and repeatedly slamming her head against the floor.
Hours of Torture and Severe Injuries
Upon arriving at the apartment, the defendant demanded the victim enter the bedroom. When she refused, he dragged her across the floor and hurled her onto the bed. He locked the door, punched her throughout her body, kicked her, and threatened to rape her.
During hours of intense abuse, the defendant threw a lit cigarette into her eye, choked her, and held the back of a kitchen knife to her abdomen. The attacks resulted in severe injuries, including a fracture in the lower wall of her left eye socket, which swelled shut, nasal bone fractures, and bloody facial lacerations. He also threatened to murder her family members.
Pursuit and Arrest at Parents' Home
The following afternoon, the injured victim managed to escape to her parents' home. The defendant pursued her on an electric scooter and broke into the house. He rampaged in the living room, threatened her father, and subsequently resisted arrest when police arrived at the scene, engaging in a violent struggle before being subdued.
