Blue Bird Airways and HaDaka HaTish'im launch discounted vacation packages to Greece and Cyprus for the long weekend before Yom Kippur, offering prices 25% lower than peak Sukkot rates.
Greek airline Blue Bird Airways, in partnership with the travel website "HaDaka HaTish'im", is launching a special promotion for discounted vacation packages ahead of the long weekend preceding Yom Kippur, starting September 17. The initiative offers flight, transfer, and hotel packages to popular destinations in Greece and Cyprus at prices roughly 25% lower than the peak holiday season rates for Sukkot.
The promotion features three-night packages for families to key Mediterranean destinations. For instance, a half-board package with water park access at the Aquila Rithymna Beach hotel in Crete is available starting from 5,450 shekels for a family of two adults and two children.
A package to Paphos for a couple and a child at the Paphos Hills hotel starts at 5,800 shekels, while an all-inclusive family vacation in Kos at the Kipriotis Village hotel starts at 5,892 shekels. Additionally, an all-inclusive package to Rhodes at the Blue Bay hotel starts at 7,450 shekels for a family.
Ilan Shalev, VP of Marketing at HaDaka HaTish'im, stated: "We are seeing significant demand for short, last-minute getaways. Departing on Thursday to enjoy three nights and returning early in the week allows families and couples to save precious vacation days. The price gap compared to Sukkot makes this timing an especially attractive opportunity."
