The couple has been married for 25 years. Both worked for a basic salary, but as the wife states, their life was stable and they lacked nothing. They have three children, one of whom is still a minor.

The wife, represented by attorney Sharin Solan, recounts a distressing story. About two and a half years ago, she was involved in a severe car accident. She suffered a spinal injury and struggles to function without a wheelchair. Following a six-month hospitalization, she began a rehabilitation process that continues to this day.

According to the wife, her husband began to be absent for long periods and rarely visited her during her hospital stay. After she was discharged home, requiring a full-time caregiver and physical therapy three times a week, the truth came to light:

"It turned out that my husband met the physical therapist during my hospitalization after the first surgery," she said.

Her suspicions grew, and she recruited her eldest son to investigate. The son was left in shock, confronted his father, and revealed the full story to his mother. She subsequently decided to file for divorce.

"I received a significant amount of compensation and will continue to receive more. I want all the money back, as it was invested in the apartment we bought," she stated.

The wife is now seeking to sell the apartment, extract the portion of the compensation invested in it, and split the remainder equally. She is also demanding the payment of the ketubah and the application of Section 8 of the Spousal Property Relations Law based on considerations of justice. The husband denies the allegations:

"My wife was injured in her spine, but also in her head. She and my son hatched a plot against me to kick me out of the house and disinherit me from all the property."

In the meantime, the couple has been referred to dispute resolution.
