The Binyamin Regional Council and the IDF warn of planned left-wing provocations during the olive harvest in the West Bank, citing a sharp rise in friction near farms.

The Binyamin Regional Council and the IDF have warned of potential provocations by left-wing activists seeking to ignite friction during the olive harvest near communities and farms in the West Bank.
Security forces identified attempts to encourage Palestinians to harvest olives in unauthorized locations, while the council reported intelligence indicating that activist groups planned to target specific friction points.
According to the data, 48 incidents were recorded near farms over the past week, compared to 23 the previous week. Binyamin Regional Council head Yisrael Gantz urged the security forces to deploy proactively to prevent anticipated provocations.
