"Soon you won't be a mom": The criminal revenge plan of the ex-husband
According to the charges against three men, the woman's car was vandalized and a stun grenade was thrown at the building where she lives. In addition, the partner allegedly threatened to harm her father and do a "Holon 2" to her, referring to the explosion in which Lia Malka Cohen (of blessed memory) was murdered on the Ayalon highway.
A dispute between former spouses who are in the process of divorce has deteriorated, according to the prosecution, into a series of threats and a criminal plan in which the woman's car was vandalized, causing damage of about 80,000 shekels. Later, a stun grenade was thrown at the entrance to the building where she lives with their common son.
The indictment filed today to the Tel Aviv District Court against three defendants reveals the sequence of events, which began with explicit threats and ended with an explosion at night.
The defendants are charged, each according to his part, with weapons offenses, malicious damage to a vehicle, and threats. According to the indictment, one of the defendants and the complainant are former spouses and have a common child. During the relevant period, the two were in the process of divorce, with the complainant living with their son in Ramat Gan.
The defendant and the complainant met at a mall. According to the charge, during an argument between them, he threatened her and said: "I will dismantle your business and your Instagram and I will dismantle you." Later, it is alleged that he added: "And your father, I will also take care of taking him down, don't worry, and our case is going to be Holon 2," referring to the car explosion on the Ayalon highway in June in which Lia Malka Cohen (of blessed memory) was murdered.
The next day, in the afternoon, it is alleged that the first defendant threatened her once again, this time in the garden under her apartment. According to the indictment, he told her: "Soon you won't be a mom." According to the prosecution, things did not end with threats. Later, he conspired with another person to damage the complainant's car and throw a grenade at the building where her apartment is located, and the perpetrator conspired with another person to carry out the plan.
A few weeks ago, late at night, the two defendants met at a parking lot in Netanya. According to the indictment, they equipped themselves with another person's motorcycle and various items, including a screwdriver and gloves, and left the place riding the motorcycle.
The two arrived at the complainant's residential area carrying, according to the charge, a stun grenade. One of them approached the building's parking lot where the complainant's car was parked, hit it with an object several times, caused it damage, and left the place.
Damage of about 80,000 shekels to the car
A few minutes later, the two returned to the parking lot. The prosecution claims that one of them kicked the car, while the other hit it with a hammer. As a result of the actions, the rear windshield and side windows were shattered, wide cracks were caused in the front windshield, and the side mirrors were broken. The value of the damage to the car was estimated at about 80,000 shekels.
About ten minutes later, the two rode the motorcycle near the building while carrying the grenade and threw it towards the entrance. According to the indictment, all the actions were carried out with the knowledge of the ex-husband. Immediately after that, the two fled the scene, returned to the staging point, and returned the motorcycle to another person.
Following the explosion of the grenade, a blast sound was heard, accompanied by a flash of light, fire, and smoke, and soot remained on the ground. The prosecution charges the three defendants with offenses of carrying and transporting weapons in a group and malicious damage to a vehicle in a group. The ex-husband is additionally charged with two counts of threats.
