Berkovic took a jab — Ohana did not remain in debt: "The ratings there are not high"

Eli Ohana responded this morning (Sunday) to the criticism voiced against him by Eyal Berkovic, after the latter mocked the possibility that adding him to the Likud list would bring the party six or seven mandates.

At the beginning of the program, Barak Sari tried once again to convince Ohana to address his political future and the possibility of joining the Likud list ahead of the upcoming elections. Ohana refused to answer and clarified: "I am not commenting on this, Barak. If I have something to say, I will talk about it."

Sari mentioned Berkovic's words and even toyed with the possibility of having him join the broadcast later in the program, but Ohana objected: "No, no, no. I decide here." According to him, he only said "with a half-smile" that Likud would not lose the election whether he was on the list or not.

Later, Sari confronted Ohana with Berkovic's claim: "Yesterday, Mr. Eyal Berkovic says: Ohana can bring six-seven mandates? Who is he anyway?".

Ohana admitted that he did not like the remarks and replied with a jab of his own: "Eyal and I are friends. I take comfort in the fact that the ratings there are not high. And yes, that was a jab." He added: "I expect that when people talk about a colleague, a friend, they will be accurate."

The conversation also moved to the Likud primaries. Sari claimed that Benjamin Netanyahu is looking for a way to avoid holding them and mocked the possibility that he would use security discussions as an excuse: "This is another way for Netanyahu to lie and deceive the Likud members."

Ohana, on the other hand, estimated that the primaries would take place after all: "The fact is that in the end there are primaries. I estimate that in the end there will be. I think there should be." When asked why he is not running himself, he replied: "I am not built to run in primaries."
