The bereaved families forum "Choosing Life" intends to appeal to ISA Director David Zini in the coming days, requesting an updated security assessment regarding ties between the Ra'am party and support for terrorism.

The dramatic move comes against the backdrop of the Attorney General's decision not to request an updated security assessment from the Shin Bet regarding Ra'am, contrary to steps taken prior to the 24th Knesset elections.

According to the forum, the current Attorney General chose to ignore the need for a new opinion and rely on an outdated assessment written during the tenure of former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, despite numerous investigations and evidence revealed in recent years.
