The wrestling world is in deep mourning following the sudden passing of Benjamin Satterley, one of the most brilliant and respected wrestlers of the past decade, who has died unexpectedly at the age of 40.
Satterley, who achieved global fame under the ring names PAC (in AEW) and Adrian Neville (during his WWE tenure), passed away just hours after delivering another impressive in-ring performance at the All Out event in Chicago. AEW released the official statement regarding his passing without detailing the cause of death.
A native of Newcastle, Satterley began his professional career in 2004. His high-flying, acrobatic style and technical prowess quickly made him a fan favorite in the UK and Japan. Upon joining WWE in 2012 as Neville, he cemented his status as a global superstar.
He captured the NXT Championship, holding it for 286 days, and later led the company's cruiserweight division, claiming the title twice and earning the moniker "The Man That Gravity Forgot."
