TASE CEO Itai Ben-Zeev Urges Broad Government to Secure Economic Future
TASE CEO Itai Ben-Zeev called for a broad-based Israeli government to ensure economic certainty, leverage technological strengths, and pass a growth-oriented budget.

The CEO of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Itai Ben-Zeev, has called for the establishment of a broad-based government grounded in cross-bloc agreements to lead a long-term economic agenda. In an open letter published in response to the election results, Ben-Zeev emphasized that national responsibility must prevail over short-term political considerations, warning that Israel's economic future cannot be held hostage to political disputes.
Highlighting the resilience demonstrated by the Israeli economy and its technological edge, Ben-Zeev noted that the country stands before an historic opportunity for a major economic leap. He referenced remarks by Palantir CEO Alex Karp regarding Israel's unique position in the global artificial intelligence race alongside the USA and China, asserting that technological advantage alone does not guarantee prosperity without consistent policy and long-term investments.
To translate this potential into sustainable growth, Ben-Zeev urged leaders to formulate broad agreements enabling the passage of a responsible, growth-supporting state budget. He also called for increased infrastructure investments, adapting the education system to future demands, expanding labor market participation, and broadening the circle of those sharing the economic burden.
From the capital market's perspective, the message is unequivocal. Investors seek opportunities but demand certainty, consistent policies, and a clear economic horizon. A broad government relying on cross-bloc agreements does not require abandoning political principles, but rather recognizing that national tasks surpass internal divisions.
