Barzani Group, one of Israel's largest real estate and infrastructure companies, is considering an initial public offering (IPO) on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) at a valuation of 2.5 billion to 3 billion shekels. Calcalist has learned that brothers Dayan Bar and Yossi Barzani are currently meeting with institutional bodies in a "Testing the Water" process to decide on the move, which is expected to be finalized following the upcoming Knesset elections.

Fundraising Plans and Portfolio

The company intends to raise over 800 million shekels. Active Underwriting, owned by Omri Levy, is leading the process. According to company presentations, Barzani generates an annual profit of approximately 120 million shekels. Founded in 1991 by Akram Barzani, the father of the current owners, the company specializes in residential construction, execution, infrastructure, and urban renewal.

"We are carefully examining market conditions and holding initial consultations with institutional investors to evaluate the offering," sources close to the company indicated.

Key Projects Across Israel

The group's flagship project in Tel Aviv is the 27-story Lavenda Tower, featuring 30,000 square meters of built space near the Ayalon Highway and the Haganah railway station. In Jerusalem, Barzani is involved in the massive Talpiot renewal project, which includes 1,019 housing units across four towers ranging from 49 to 53 floors on Hebron Road. Additionally, the company is planning 1,246 units in Old Katamon under the Ma'aglei Yavniel project, alongside ventures in Beit Shemesh and Katzrin.

Infrastructure and Income-Producing Real Estate

In the infrastructure sector, Barzani has constructed a bridge and road on Highway 2 near Netanya, central sections of Begin Road South in Jerusalem, the Ramat Shlomo interchange, and the Asher Weiner tunnel. The company also holds income-producing properties such as the Country Park commercial center in Mevaseret Zion, the MBC complex, and properties in the Jordan Valley and Kiryat Anavim. Despite market uncertainties ahead of the October 27, 2026 elections, the group weighs its options amid shifting economic conditions.
