Israeli Reality Star Reports Antisemitic Assault at Barcelona Airport
Israeli reality star Shalka reported facing severe antisemitic abuse and being spat upon by a stranger at Barcelona airport after revealing she was from Israel.

Antisemitic Incident at Barcelona Airport
A routine end to a family vacation in Barcelona turned into a harrowing ordeal for Israeli reality TV personality Shalka, who reported facing verbal abuse and being spat upon at the local airport.
The 20-year-old took to her Instagram account to share the disturbing encounter with her followers, revealing that the incident occurred shortly before her scheduled flight back to Israel was ultimately canceled.
Confrontation at the Terminal
According to Shalka's accounts, the confrontation began when she asked a stranger for assistance with her flight ticket. Upon realizing she was from Israel, the man allegedly launched into a tirade of curses, made pro-Palestinian statements, and spat on her.
"Listen, I am in shock levels, I have never seen such antisemitism," Shalka wrote in an Instagram story. "A man physically asked where I am from because I asked for help with the flight ticket, he heard I am from Israel and spat on me. Physically spat and cursed me like I've never been cursed before, I am simply speechless."
Despite attempts by the man's female partner to intervene and calm him down—reportedly shouting "Jones, please stop!"—the aggressive behavior left the young traveler shaken and deeply impacted by the display of hostility as she prepared to return to Israel.
