Media consultant and journalist Barak Seri, a regular panelist on Channel 12 current affairs programs, is celebrating a happy day today, Tuesday, following the birth of his new grandson. "Welcome to the family, dear and beloved grandson," Seri wrote in a post on his Facebook page, accompanied by a picture of the newborn.
In July 2024, the family suffered a profound tragedy with the passing of his daughter, Yuval Rina Seri of blessed memory, at the age of 30. Reflecting on this, he wrote: "Your aunt Yuval blesses you from heaven."
Currently, Seri serves as a prominent political commentator for various media outlets, including Keshet 12 and Radio 103FM, and lectures on the behind-the-scenes dynamics of Israeli politics and media against the backdrop of upcoming elections.
In 2023, Seri announced his candidacy for mayor of Ashdod. Ahead of the local elections in early 2024, he joined forces with Shimon Katznelson, and his faction, "Ashdod Mitkademet," secured a seat on the city council. His political background is extensive, having served as a media consultant and spokesperson for several ministers and senior public figures, including Ehud Barak, Aryeh Deri, Avi Dichter, Israel Katz, and Silvan Shalom.
