Bank Leumi's AI Center is facing a leadership shakeup following the departure of Amir Rosen, who served as head of the center just months after his appointment in December.

Nine months ago, Bank Leumi announced a series of management appointments, including Eyal Efrat as head of the banking division replacing Eyal Ben-Haim, and the division of the technology department into two: Nir Omer as head of cyber and infrastructure, and Shauli Bar Or as head of technology development. These moves were part of accelerating the AI revolution and technological transformation under CEO Hanan Friedman.

Rosen, previously head of banking products in the tech division, initially led the newly established AI center reporting directly to the CEO. Over recent months, his role shifted as two senior executives with military intelligence backgrounds were appointed above him. Rosen has now requested to step down and leave the bank.

Rosen's departure coincides with the exit of another senior executive, Tzachi Artzi, head of the construction and real estate array in Leumi's commercial division. Artzi, who boasts about 25 years of experience and served on the supreme credit committee, left to manage the Nawi Group.
