Brawl in Savyon: One moderately injured outside the home of Yossi Musli, four arrested
The head of the crime organization arrived at his home as part of an exceptional administrative restriction order issued against him. Musli will stay at his home until Yom Kippur, amid suspicions of involvement in a conflict with the Jarushi family, and after the police failed to establish an evidentiary basis to link him to recent grenade-throwing incidents.
A brawl broke out today (Sunday) outside the home of crime organization head Yossi Musli in Savyon. Police arrested four suspects at the scene, including a man in his 40s who was moderately injured and evacuated to Sheba Hospital in Tel HaShomer. The report of the brawl was received at the MADA 101 dispatch center in the Yarkon district at 16:43.
The incident took place on Mevo'ot Street, where Musli's home is located, to which the crime organization head arrived today from his father's house in Kfar Shalem as part of the exceptional administrative restriction order issued against him. The police failed to establish an evidentiary basis against Musli to link him to recent grenade-throwing incidents.
Last week, Tel Aviv District Court Judge Shai Yaniv ordered an administrative restriction on Yossi Musli until the eve of Yom Kippur. Under the order, Musli will be under house arrest. Furthermore, he is prohibited from using messaging applications.
The case concerns attacks that occurred against the Japanika chain during the month of July. It started in Givatayim, continued to Kiryat Ono and Ramat Gan, and also reached branches in Netanya, Afula, and Herzliya. According to police sources, the suspicion is that several of the chain's franchisees, which is owned by businessman Barak Abramov, fell victim to a conflict between the Musli and Jarushi crime families.
However, it was not only Japanika branches that were hit in the conflict. Fragmentation grenades were also thrown at houses and buildings where members of the crime families live. In one case, a grenade was thrown at a private house in Shoham due to an address error. Another grenade was thrown at a residential building in Rishon LeZion, on a street where shots were fired in the evening at a private house by a motorcyclist.
Police sources stated that the current conflict began after the Musli family transferred control of its betting business to the crime organization of Eran Haya, who is abroad, to the displeasure of the Jarushi people.
