The detention of the suspects involved in a brawl this past Saturday at an Eilat hotel has been extended by one day. A day after Eilat District police officers were called to one of the city's hotels following reports of a fight between guests, an Eilat Magistrate's Court judge ordered the suspects' detention to be extended by an additional 24 hours.

The brawl began in the pool area against the backdrop of a verbal argument between a woman's husband and three guests who had been mocking her. Subsequently, the three began attacking the husband.

After the guest left the pool area, the three followed him to the hotel lobby, where they continued to threaten him with menacing gestures, and one of them even physically attacked him.

The three suspects, residents of Be'er Sheva and Ahisamakh in their 30s, who had been behaving crudely during their stay, were arrested and transferred for questioning at the Eilat District police station.

As previously reported, the three guests were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of involvement in the brawl, which escalated from a verbal argument into threats and an assault in the hotel lobby. Police officers called to the scene arrested the trio and transferred them for interrogation.

According to police, a preliminary investigation reveals that the incident began in the pool area and developed into an assault on one of the hotel guests in the lobby.

It has come to the attention of the "HaYom" editorial desk that the suspects had been staying in recent days at the King Solomon Hotel in Eilat. According to eyewitnesses, including guests and hotel staff, the three acted in a threatening manner throughout their stay, including mimicking and mocking a woman at the site.

Testimonies indicate that the argument began between the woman's husband and the trio at the pool, after which they began attacking him. The confrontation continued into the lobby, where the suspects continued their threats and one of them committed an assault.
