In Hapoel Ramat Gan, they expressed great satisfaction following the nice 3:2 victory over Maccabi Netanya yesterday (Sunday), as part of the Toto Cup group stage. This is the second consecutive victory for the newly promoted team, which now holds a perfect record of two wins from two games and is strongly in the picture for the battle for a ticket to the semi-finals.

Despite the successful start, in Ramat Gan they are not blinded and know that the squad is still very much lacking. The professional staff is looking for at least three additional foreign players for the positions of center-back, defensive midfielder, and attack.

Meanwhile, this morning the club announced the signing of the Nigerian attacking midfielder Christopher Boniface, who signed for two years with an option for an additional season.

24-year-old Boniface, who stands at 1.80 meters tall, is capable of playing in several positions in the front part. In recent years he has played outside of Nigeria, among others in the leagues in Armenia and Qatar.

He recorded his breakthrough in Europe in the uniform of Van from the first league in Armenia, and from there he moved to Ararat Yerevan, one of the oldest and most well-known clubs in the country. In the last season, he played for Al-Kharaitiyat from the second league in Qatar, which purchased him from Ararat.

After the signing, Boniface told the club's official website:

"I am very happy to join the club. I came here to help the team achieve its goals, and I will give my all on the pitch."
