Austrian Airlines Flight from Tel Aviv Lands in Sofia Over Bomb Threat

An Austrian Airlines flight en route from Tel Aviv to Vienna made an emergency landing in Sofia, Bulgaria, on Sunday afternoon following a bomb threat. The warning was triggered by an anonymous phone call received at the airline's offices in Austria.

The aircraft landed safely in Bulgarian airspace and is currently undergoing security checks by local teams. This incident follows a similar security scare five days ago aboard a Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Israel, which was thoroughly searched upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport with no suspicious items found.
