Recipients of National Insurance Institute benefits may receive early payments during September due to the Tishrei holidays. However, as of now, the standard dates remain on the National Insurance Institute website, and an early payment schedule has not yet been officially confirmed.
According to the current schedule, unemployment benefits and income support are set for payment on Sunday, 13/09/2026. Since this date falls on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, it is possible the payment will be advanced. In such instances, the National Insurance Institute typically publishes a separate update regarding the adjusted schedule.
Child benefits are also likely to be affected by the Tishrei holidays. The website currently lists 20/09/2026, which coincides with the eve of Yom Kippur. Therefore, it is possible that these payments will be advanced, though no new official date has been released yet.
Later in the month, an advancement is expected for long-term benefits. The website currently shows 28/09/2026, but this date falls during the Sukkot holiday period (from 25/09 to 02/10), so an earlier payment is possible.
Long-term benefits include old-age pensions, survivor benefits, disability benefits, disabled child benefits, special services for the severely disabled, mobility benefits, work injury benefits, alimony, rehabilitation, nursing care, and prisoner of Zion benefits. Disability benefits, for example, are usually paid on the 28th of each month, with the institute noting that dates may shift due to holidays.
