Assi Azar loses a bet: The surprising promise he must keep on air
During rehearsals for the Maccabiah ceremony, Assi Azar made a bet with Anna Aronov regarding Sheran Yeini's return to 'Dancing with the Stars', and now he is obligated to perform on stage in a sparkling sequined dress.
The 'lifeline' in 'Dancing with the Stars' on Channel 12 caused quite a stir, but the real drama unfolded behind the scenes. During rehearsals for the Maccabiah ceremony, judge Anna Aronov, Assi Azar, and footballer Sheran Yeini met. Azar, convinced that the former Maccabi Tel Aviv captain would return to the game, made a wager with Aronov.
As recalled, earlier this week it was determined that Maya Dagan alongside her partner Shahar Zismanovich, and Sheran Yeini together with Karin Sorochinsky, were the ones who managed to win the coveted ticket back and secure their place among the ten leading couples of the current season.
As Aronov revealed on her Instagram account, Azar committed that if Yeini won and returned to the competition, he would go on stage in a sparkling sequined dress and perform a special number together with Yeini and his dance partner, Karin.
Azar's bet proved accurate. Yeini and Maya Dagan indeed won the 'lifeline' and secured their return to the live broadcasts. Now that the former captain is back on the dance floor, all that remains for the viewers is to see if Azar will truly fulfill his sparkling promise on live television.
