Arrived uninvited to a "White Night" party in Petah Tikva - and were stabbed
Students from another school arrived uninvited to a back-to-school party organized by teenagers near the Segula industrial zone in the city. The confrontation at the scene escalated into violence and the injury of three people. The police dispersed the participants and detained two suspects.
Three students entering the 12th grade were lightly injured by stabbings last night (Tuesday) during a brawl that broke out at a party in an open area in Petah Tikva. The violent incident occurred after teenagers who were not invited arrived at the scene and confronted the partygoers.
The "White Night" party organized by high school students ahead of the return to school got out of control. The event took place in an open area near the Segula industrial zone. It is suspected that during the night, students from another high school arrived at the location without being invited.
The presence of the outside teenagers at the scene led to a confrontation that quickly developed into a brawl, during which three of the partygoers were stabbed. The wounded were evacuated to the hospital suffering from stab wounds, and their condition is defined as light.
Police officers from the Petah Tikva station who were called to the scene shut down the party and dispersed the participants. During searches conducted in the area, the forces found many alcohol bottles. Two teenagers were detained for questioning on suspicion of involvement in the stabbings.
The police noted that the investigation began following a report from medical teams about teenagers who arrived to receive treatment at the hospital. Immediately afterward, the forces arrived at the scene, stopped the event, and began clarifying its circumstances.
