Following Yair Netanyahu: Senior official sues Benny Gantz for 1.12 million shekels
The former head of the digital department of the Blue and White party has filed a lawsuit for 1.12 million shekels, claiming the denial of social rights, and is additionally demanding to impose attachments on the party for fear that it will not pass the electoral threshold.
Benny Gantz is facing significant challenges. While his party, Blue and White, has failed to pass the electoral threshold for months and his political future remains uncertain, Gantz is now facing a lawsuit for 1.12 million shekels from Dana Keshedi, the former head of the party's digital department.
Keshedi is suing for this amount, claiming she was denied basic wage rights, including overtime pay, compensation for night work and weekly rest, pension contributions, and other benefits during her four-year tenure, which ended in early 2025. This was reported this evening, Monday, by the publication Calcalist.
In addition, Keshedi has filed a request to impose an attachment of 759,000 shekels on the assets of the Blue and White party, citing concerns that the party may not pass the electoral threshold in the upcoming elections and would thus be unable to pay the requested compensation.
As previously reported, last January, a court ruled in favor of Keshedi in a lawsuit she filed against Yair Netanyahu, the son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ordering him to pay her 159,000 shekels due to posts he made against her on social media.
