Former 'Married at First Sight' participant Rinat Katz and her partner Barak Zahavi are moving in together after six months of dating. The news was revealed through a heartfelt note attached to a bouquet of sunflowers for Tu B'Av.
Rinat Katz, star of the fifth season of 'Married at First Sight'—who sparked lively social media discussions during her time on the show—is embarking on the next chapter of her romantic life. The 35-year-old is moving in with her partner, 34-year-old Barak Zahavi, a milestone reached after six months of dating, as reported today by mako celebrities.
This morning, Katz, who transitioned from her career as an intensive care nurse to a trainer at a medical startup after the reality show, shared a story featuring a bouquet of sunflowers sent by her partner for Tu B'Av. She wrote: 'I am crazy about my man. I am grateful every day for our path and for everything that is yet to come. How lucky I am.'
Attached to the bouquet was a handwritten note from Zahavi, revealing their big move:
'Sunflowers or not to be, the first ones in our new home. Happy Tu B'Av, my partner. May we have many more together. Thank you for being you.'
He signed the note 'Doctor M.'
Last week, Zahavi shared a heartfelt post on Instagram featuring photos of the couple, alongside a list of his diverse pursuits—ranging from compassion retreats and breathing exercises to psychotherapy and meditation. Addressing Katz, he wrote:
'The first time I hold hands in public, the first time I am hugged in public, the first time I kiss in public, the first time I dare to call myself a partner. The first time I utter the three sacred words "I love you" when I am not high, the first time I introduce a partner to the family.'
Katz, it is worth recalling, was a frequent subject of gossip columns several years ago following a barrage of online criticism, particularly regarding her brief relationship with Daniel Ashd, her match on the show, and later with Ben Avivi, another participant from her season.
