After the 9 billion shekel deal: A surprising appointment in the Israeli real estate market
Galit Bik, a key partner in the massive Eshkol power station acquisition and a veteran of capital market deals at Meshek Energy, is moving to a senior executive role at Shemen Nadlan.

The public company Shemen Nadlan has announced the appointment of Galit Bik as VP of Business Operations. Bik, formerly the Chief of Staff and General Counsel of Meshek Energy, will lead business development activities for the income-producing real estate firm.
In her new role at Shemen Nadlan, Bik will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, advancing strategic initiatives, and leading complex transactions and capital market activities. Furthermore, she will focus on promoting opportunities within the energy sector, emphasizing synergies between energy operations and the company's real estate portfolio.
Galit Bik brings over 14 years of legal, business, and management experience, including seven years in the energy sector. During her tenure at Meshek Energy, she was a central figure in formulating business strategy, executing strategic investments, project finance, capital raising, and managing board and investor relations.

She played a pivotal role in the acquisition of the Eshkol power station, a deal valued at approximately 9 billion shekels, which included raising over 700 million shekels in capital.
As part of the founding team at Meshek Energy, Bik supported the company's IPO, established its internal legal department, and managed capital market transactions totaling over a billion shekels, alongside financing frameworks of approximately 2 billion shekels.
Prior to Meshek Energy, she served as a senior attorney at the Lipa Meir & Co. law firm, representing major companies in commercial, regulatory, and complex litigation proceedings. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Bar-Ilan University.
