After 17 years: Eli Tabib and Dana Ashkenazi are divorcing
After nearly two decades together and one child, the couple has decided to separate. As learned by mako Celebs, the divorce is amicable, based on mutual respect and continued friendship.

After 17 years of marriage, a child together, and a stable relationship, Dana Ashkenazi (49) and businessman Eli Tabib (70) are separating and divorcing, as learned by mako Celebs. Tabib, an Israeli businessman widely known as the former owner of the football clubs Beitar Jerusalem, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Hapoel Kfar Saba, is parting ways with Ashkenazi by mutual decision. Despite the dramatic tone that such divorces often evoke, details indicate that the two decided to separate by mutual consent, out of mutual respect, deep appreciation, and a friendship built over the years. Sources close to the couple told mako Celebs that the separation is being handled in a positive spirit, with both parties requesting that the public respect their privacy and that of their family members during this time. The family intends to maintain a close and respectful relationship, with the well-being of the children remaining the top priority. As part of their agreement, Eli Tabib will continue to reside in Miami, while Ashkenazi will remain in the family home in Kfar Shmaryahu. The couple has one child together; Dana also has a daughter from a previous marriage, and Eli has two adult children from previous marriages.
