After 12 years at the Channel 12 news company, Maayan Private is embarking on a new professional path. Days after announcing her departure from the system where she became one of the reporters most identified with the fields of consumerism, economy, and the cost of living, it was revealed that Private is moving to her new role and will serve as the spokesperson for the Histadrut.
This evening (Wednesday), Private conducted her final broadcast on Keshet 12 as part of Oded Ben-Ami's program. The veteran consumer reporter said goodbye on live television to the place that had been her home for the last 12 years and said: "Unbelievable, after 12 years. It's crazy."
Immediately afterward, Oded Ben-Ami and the program's team prepared an especially moving surprise for Private when her husband and two children entered the studio during the live broadcast. At that moment, Private could not hold back her tears and said with emotion: "It is very difficult because I started here and it is very hard to say goodbye. I am embarking on a new path, but I hope I will do a good job as I tried to do here. I will continue to fight the cost of living wherever I go."
