Anthropic Files IPO Prospectus on Nasdaq as Revenue and Losses Surge
AI developer Anthropic has filed its IPO prospectus, planning to trade on Nasdaq under ANT. The firm reported $16.3 billion in H1 2026 revenue alongside massive infrastructure spending.

Anthropic, the artificial intelligence developer behind the Claude model family, has released its official prospectus ahead of an upcoming public offering. The company's stock will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol ANT, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley leading the underwriting process. Anthropic is scheduled to make its public debut during the week of November 16.
According to the prospectus, Anthropic reported revenue of $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, marking a dramatic surge from $1.2 billion during the same period last year. However, the company posted a net loss of $80.7 billion over the same timeframe and expects losses to continue mounting due to surging operational expenditures.
Financial Commitments and Market Strategy
Draft filings reveal that the company holds future commitments exceeding $600 billion for cloud services and computing infrastructure, with ongoing negotiations potentially adding another $150 billion. Approximately 20% of first-half revenue stemmed from just two major clients. The prospectus also highlights a net revenue retention rate of 900%, underscoring its capacity to expand accounts over time.
Market analysts note that Anthropic aims to leverage public capital markets to sustain its competitive edge against rivals like OpenAI. Both firms face escalating scrutiny over AI safety following high-profile security incidents involving autonomous agents, a factor that could influence investor sentiment during the listing.
