Anna Pines, the 24-year-old daughter of television host Guy Pines and media personality Ruti Rodner, has announced she is taking on a prominent new role at Kan 11 News. Pines will join the network as a magazine and investigative reporter, as well as a news anchor, following five years of field reporting covering events from various fronts.
Pines shared the exciting news on her Instagram account, writing that she is thrilled to begin this new chapter after years of running from scene to scene. She called on the public to share their stories—whether moving, frustrating, or joyful—as she prepares for this fresh professional challenge alongside her ongoing projects.
The career milestone follows her transition to the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation at the end of 2023, after concluding her service as the Tel Aviv and central region correspondent for Army Radio. During her time at Kan News, she continued covering the central district on television while building a reputation for dedicated reporting.
Earlier this year, Pines also participated in the Kan 11 delegation covering major international sporting events, sharing behind-the-scenes encounters with global football legends. Now, she steps into her expanded role, combining rigorous investigative journalism with on-air presentation.
