Amira Buzaglo Celebrates One Year Since Dramatic 59kg Weight Loss

Israeli media personality and producer Amira Buzaglo is celebrating one year since undergoing bariatric surgery, marking the milestone with a revealing Instagram post and photos showcasing her dramatic transformation.

A Year of Transformation

Reflecting on her journey, Buzaglo shared with her followers the emotional hurdles she faced before finally going through with the procedure. "Today I am celebrating one year since my makeover. I was scared. I was worried. I hoped, and how wonderful that I was recreated, not just because of the weight, but yes, minus a fucking 59 kilograms," she wrote in her personal post.

Buzaglo recalled the morning of the surgery, noting how she was consumed by anxiety while her friend picked her up at five in the morning. She also remembered entering the operating room on a deeply emotional day for the country, coinciding with the return of hostages. "I told the medical team, how exciting that the hostages are coming home today, take care of me and that soon I will see them return home," she shared.

Looking Ahead with a New Outlook

"We are here for one round in this reincarnation, so let's live to the maximum. Happy birthday to me."

Recovery was not easy at first, as she described dealing with pain and relying on close friends and family for support. Previously, in an interview last August, Buzaglo revealed she had canceled the surgery three times out of fear before finally taking the plunge. Now, having lost a total of 59 kilograms, she looks forward to embracing life to its fullest alongside her children and loved ones.
