Amir Banai Injured Ahead of 'Dancing with the Stars' Live Broadcast
Hours before the live broadcast on Keshet 12, Amir Banai, a contestant on 'Dancing with the Stars', injured his forehead during the dress rehearsal and had to leave the studio to receive medical treatment.
A moment of anxiety unfolded at the Neve Ilan studios just hours before the live broadcast of 'Dancing with the Stars'. Amir Banai, son of comedian Orna Banai and a scion of the renowned Banai family, suffered a forehead injury during the final dress rehearsals for the show.
According to sources familiar with the details, the injury occurred during final preparations for a routine scheduled to air tonight, in which Banai incorporates playing the guitar into his choreography. During the rehearsal, the guitar struck Banai's forehead with force, causing a cut. On-site staff provided immediate first aid, after which he was urgently taken from the studio to receive further medical care.
The incident has caused concern among the production staff and fans, especially given the series of injuries recorded throughout the current season. The competition recently suffered a significant blow when Eden Golan, one of the season's most prominent contestants, was forced to withdraw alongside her dance partner, Artem Lyaskovsky, following a shoulder injury.
It remains to be seen whether Banai's injury will allow him to take the floor during the live broadcast, or if he too will be forced to withdraw from the competition.
