Massive Fire Breaks Out at Aminach Mattress Factory in Nir Zvi

A massive fire broke out overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday at the Aminach mattress factory in the community of Nir Zvi. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and identified significant blazes gradually spreading toward adjacent buildings, including hazardous material storage areas in the industrial zone. Crews worked for long hours to extinguish the flames, conducting targeted defense operations and successfully preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring facilities.

Fire and rescue teams are currently continuing final cooling and containment operations at the site. Battalion Chief Noam Mordechai noted that the complex incident posed a real danger to nearby structures and high-risk hazardous materials, but professional intervention prevented a severe disaster.
