The first episode of the documentary series "The Journey of Agam and Bar", broadcasted on Channel 14, followed Oded Harush as he met with freed hostages Agam Berger and Bar Kuperstein alongside the mothers who waited for them through long months. Together, they returned to the days of captivity, the prayers, and the faith that the children would eventually return home.

A Journey of Faith and Tears

Titled "Ki Ahyeh", the episode revealed a journey that began at the grave of Rabbi Eliezer Papo, author of the "Pele Yoez". Family members gathered at the holy site to pray, weep, and plead for the return of Agam and Bar when uncertainty became unbearable. Bar's mother recalled opening the "Pele Yoez" book, where the entry happened to be titled "Crying". At that moment, she felt certain that her prayers were heard.

"We continued to believe against all odds, holding onto every word of prayer and every tear shed in hope of a miracle." - Mother of Agam

From Battlefields to Gratitude

Alongside the families' journey, Oded Harush reflected on his own combat days in the Gaza Strip, his injury during Hanukkah, and a fallen comrade. Harush shared how he vowed to document the miracles he witnessed if he survived. The prayers ultimately turned into reality as Agam and Bar returned home, returning to the prayer sites not to ask, but to give thanks.
