If you have felt a spirit of rhythm and adventure in the northern Tel Aviv area in recent days, there is an excellent reason for it: the grand musical "Around the World in 80 Days" from the toMix theater has taken the stage at Pavilion 2 at Expo Tel Aviv in a new, rhythmic, and hilarious version.

The classic by Jules Verne received a comprehensive update by Yaron Kafkafi and directed by Tzadok Tzarfati, resulting in an immersive experience for the whole family. On stage, some of Israel's most beloved names meet: Orel Tsabari, Israel Katorza, Chen Amsalem, and Daniel Litman, who lead a wide cast alongside giant sets, elaborate choreography, and songs that stay in your head.

Beyond the familiar plot about adventures, courage, friendship, and love, the show presents a gimmick that is the first of its kind in Israel: a giant hot air balloon that hovers directly over the heads of the spectators in the hall using special technology.

The opening event attracted a long line of celebrities, media figures, and children's stars who came to be the first to see the wonder. Among those present in the audience were Maor Zaguri, Oz Zehavi, Rami Kleinstein, Aki Avni, Miki Mochtar, Guy Hochman, Adi Himelbloy and her ex-husband, Ortal Amar with Tzuf Prince, Amira Buzaglo, Sorla Katorza and the children, Avi Nussbaum, Udi Gottschalk, Matan Hatzroni, Daniel Stiopin, Shira Izakov, Dean Fisher, Yafit Asulin, Or Heller, Tali Oren, and others. Dates: 7.8–29.8, Location: Pavilion 2, Expo Tel Aviv (Ganei HaTa'arucha).
