Fatal accidents in Haifa and Tel Aviv: 1 dead, 3 seriously injured
Two serious traffic accidents occurred almost simultaneously, resulting in the death of a 60-year-old man and leaving two others in serious condition. The injured were evacuated to Rambam Hospital.
Two fatal accidents occurred in a short period of time: a 60-year-old man was killed and two others were seriously injured in a collision between two vehicles on the Coastal Road, near the Haifa South interchange. Almost simultaneously, a separate accident involving a cyclist occurred in Tel Aviv.
MADA paramedics and EMTs who were called to the scene pronounced the 60-year-old man dead and evacuated a 30-year-old with multi-system trauma and a 25-year-old with injuries to the abdomen and limbs to Rambam Hospital, both in serious condition.
MADA paramedic Yishai Levi and EMTs Shevach Rotenstreich and Rani Jabor stated: "This is a very serious traffic accident. When we arrived at the scene, we noticed two private vehicles with severe body damage, and next to them three casualties. A man about 60 years old was unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and suffering from multi-system trauma. We performed medical checks and had no choice but to pronounce his death on the spot. In addition, we treated a 30-year-old man in serious and unstable condition and a 25-year-old young man in serious condition. We provided medical treatment that included stopping bleeding, bandaging, and splinting, and evacuated them in MADA intensive care ambulances to the hospital."
