Road fatality: Pedestrian aged about 40 killed by vehicle in Hadera
A 40-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle. MDA paramedic Alexander Goldenberg: 'This is a very difficult scene, the injuries were severe, and unfortunately we had to pronounce him dead at the scene.'
A pedestrian aged about 40 was killed last night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) after being struck by a vehicle at a junction in Hadera.
At 01:19, a report was received at the MDA 101 dispatch center in the Sharon region regarding the accident. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene found the man with no signs of life, suffering from multi-system trauma, and were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene.
MDA paramedic Alexander Goldenberg and senior MDA medic Elimelech Michaelovitz stated: 'This is a very difficult scene. When we arrived, the man was lying on the road unconscious with multi-system trauma. We performed medical checks, but his injuries were severe and, unfortunately, we had to pronounce his death on the spot.'
The circumstances of the accident are currently under police investigation.
