While "Spider-Man: Brand New Day", Tom Holland's fourth film as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is drawing large crowds to cinemas around the world, a series of incidents in screening halls is sparking a debate about the limits of reacting to disruptive behavior during a movie.

Indian police have launched an investigation after a brawl broke out during a screening in the city of Kochi. According to the Indian media outlet Lokmat Times, the confrontation began after a man sitting near four friends loudly revealed to his companion details of the plot and key moments of tension in the film.

Viewers asked him to stop, but according to the report, he continued to talk. The verbal argument between the parties quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. In footage circulated on social media, the individuals involved are seen exchanging shouts and blows. It was also reported that the man had already watched the film and returned to the hall for a second viewing. The police stated that the circumstances of the incident are still being investigated, and at this stage, there have been no reports of arrests or legal proceedings against those involved.

Another incident occurred in Hong Kong, where police are searching for a woman suspected of throwing a "cream-like" liquid at the 6-year-old son of local actress Grace Chan. According to the South China Morning Post, Chan filed a complaint with the police and claimed that an "unidentified liquid" was thrown at her son, who was watching the movie alongside his two brothers, his mother, and his grandmother.

Eyewitnesses cited in the report claimed that the child kicked the seat in front of him, talked loudly, laughed, and shouted during the screening. According to them, his mother ignored requests from other viewers to calm the children down. The police have not yet located the suspect in the liquid-throwing incident.

At the same time, other reports on social media dealt with another screening during which a baby cried and made noises throughout large parts of the film. According to the testimonies, the parent left the hall with him several times, but the disturbances resumed each time he returned. At one point, one of the viewers called out to him and asked him to get the child under control.
