3 burglaries within 5 hours: Indictment filed against Afula resident
The Northern District police have concluded an investigation into a 43-year-old Afula resident who broke into the same business three times in one night. The suspect used an electric bicycle to transport the stolen goods.
An indictment was filed against a 43-year-old resident of Afula who broke into the same business three times within a span of 5 hours. Following the investigation by the Northern District, police also filed a request for the suspect's detention until the end of court proceedings.
On July 26, a local business owner reported a burglary that occurred overnight and the theft of property from the premises. Police officers summoned to the scene opened an investigation and arrested the 43-year-old suspect, who was found in possession of some of the stolen items, which were subsequently returned to the owner.
Investigators determined that on the night of the burglary, the suspect broke into the business three times over a 5-hour period, leaving each time with different property that he transported from the scene on an electric bicycle.
Upon completion of the investigation, the police filed the indictment alongside a request for detention at the Magistrate's Court in Nof HaGalil-Nazareth.
